Taste of two shores
A walking food route through Kadıköy market and the back streets.
Sirkeci to İstiklal on foot: the route Agatha Christie's passengers took.

Every great railway story seems to find its way to Istanbul. This walk begins at the final stop of the Orient Express, Sirkeci Station, where the clocks and chandeliers still preserve the atmosphere of another age. From there, the route follows the spice-scented streets of Eminönü, crosses Galata Bridge among the fishermen and continues past the tower towards İstiklal. Sultans, spies and the novelist who stayed at Pera Palace accompany the story. A half-day journey on foot, rich in history and atmosphere.
