Most İstanbul programmes are written for guests who walk fast. This package does the opposite: one major visit a day, the car to the door between sites, long sitting breaks and a return to the hotel in the afternoon. The route draws on Dolmabahçe Palace, Süleymaniye and the tombs in its courtyard, the Basilica Cistern, Chora, the Patriarchate quarter at Fener with the Golden Horn shore, and an hour on the Bosphorus by boat; which four are taken is decided with the guest. Places with fewer stairs and somewhere to sit are preferred, though thresholds and stone floors are unavoidable in historic buildings such as Süleymaniye and Chora; where a guest has limited mobility we discuss this in advance. A daily lunch can be added as an option.
