Orthodox shrines of Istanbul
Blachernae, the iron church, the Patriarchate: five hours through the Orthodox city.
The Patriarchate, Chora, Blachernae and Balıklı: the Orthodox memory of the city over four nights.

The Orthodox heritage of İstanbul does not fit into a single day, so this package is built on four nights. The Ecumenical Patriarchate and the Cathedral of St George at Fener, Chora with its mosaics and frescoes, Pammakaristos which once housed the Patriarchate, the Church of St Mary of Blachernae and its holy spring, the Monastery of the Virgin at Balıklı with the patriarchal tombs, Hagia Sophia and Hagia Irene, the Bulgarian Church of St Stephen and the Theodosian walls form the spine of the programme. Accommodation, the airport meet, every transfer and a guide versed in Orthodox tradition run through one desk. Liturgy days and visiting hours set the order of the days, and nothing is entered while worship is in progress. Museum entrance fees are quoted separately.
Stops flex with the weather, traffic and your guest's pace.
