The Turkish blue voyage in its original form: a traditional wooden gulet chartered for one group, with captain, cook and deckhand, sailing out of Bodrum for a week or a shorter charter along the Gulf of Gökova, with its pine-covered coves such as Çökertme, Sedir Island and English Harbour, or around the Datça peninsula towards Knidos. Days follow the sea: breakfast at anchor, a morning swim, a short passage to the next bay, lunch on deck, an afternoon in a village or on a beach and the night in a sheltered cove. Cabins have private bathrooms; the number of cabins, the deck space and the age of the boat define the class, which we propose to match the group and the budget and name in the offer. Weekly charters usually run Saturday to Saturday in high season; shorter charters are possible outside peak weeks. Meals are prepared on board by the cook; the bar and any Greek-island extension with its visa and port formalities are arranged separately.
