Booking a private Bosphorus charter: the questions that protect your client

A Bosphorus charter may begin with a beautiful photograph, but the quality of the experience is decided by the details behind it. Before presenting an option, we make sure the following questions have clear answers.

Which pier, and who takes them there?

Many charter difficulties begin at the pier. Some have no parking, some are difficult to identify, and others are a considerable walk from the nearest vehicle access. Every charter therefore comes with a confirmed pier, a clear drop-off point and, for groups, a coordinated shuttle plan.

What happens if the client is late?

Charters are booked by the hour and most piers are shared. A delay may shorten the cruise or affect the boarding slot. It is important to know how much waiting time is included, how overtime is charged and how the timing may alter a sunset itinerary. We set out these details clearly in every proposal.

Is the route actually permitted?

Not every vessel may stop everywhere, and swimming is possible only in designated bays. If swimming is important to the client, it should be planned as part of a suitable daytime route with an agreed anchoring point.

Who is on board?

Crew size, the captain's credentials and the presence of service staff can change the character of the experience entirely. These details should be stated clearly, alongside everything included in the charter.
